Francisco MeCe


Francisco MeCe (1988, Bogota, Colombia) is an emerging filmmaker and cinematographer based in Berlin, Germany. After obtaining his degree in Visual Arts at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana collaborated as DoP and Assistant Editor on the film It All Started at the End directed by the iconic colombian filmmaker Luis Ospina. He studied cinematography at the Deutsche Film und Fernsehakademie Berlin (DFFB) and his work covers diverse fields of the audiovisual arts scene, developing pieces together with musicians, choreographers, filmmakers and both visual and sound artists. His first feature film Errante was world premiered in January 2020 and has recently finished his new short film called The Song of the Chrysalis.
