Francisco MeCe (1988, Bogota, Colombia) is an emerging filmmaker and cinematographer based in Berlin, Germany. After obtaining his degree in Visual Arts at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana collaborated as DoP and Assistant Editor on the film "It All Started at the End" directed by the iconic colombian filmmaker Luis Ospina. Since 2013 he studies cinematography at the Deutsche Film und Fernsehakademie Berlin (DFFB). His work covers diverse fields of the audiovisual arts scene, developing pieces together with musicians, choreographers, filmmakers and both visual and sound artists. "Errante" is his first feature-film, finalized in 2018. Currently, he post-produces his graduation film "El Canto de la Crisálida" and develops the feature-film “Marcos” (WT), to be produced in 2020.
