Promo Video Documentary (2020)

On October 24 and 25, 2020, three artistic works were performed in Berlin's radialsystem, as part of the project "The other Beethoven(s)": On the one hand, the audiovisual room installation "Covered Culture" by the composer Brigitta Muntendorf and the dramaturg Moritz Lobeck in collaboration with KATO, with the participation of choirs from China, Korea, Japan and Germany. On the other hand, the choir project "Ode for all", in which six women's choirs from Southeastern Europe under the artistic direction of Cathy Milliken took Beethoven's "Ode to Joy" as the basis for a creative exploration of his work in a multi-channel sound installation. The third event was "Disturbing the Universal/DIY" by the Trickster Orchestra, in which musicians from a wide variety of traditions tracked down the "tricksters" of classical and contemporary music. A 7-minute film documentary by Francisco MeCe summarizes the event for all those, who would like to have the opportunity to experience it afterwards.
